<p>Hi, I’m new here. Well I’m near my senior year and near the time of apply for colleges.
Please help me out!
My SAT: 1990 (Math 720, Reading 670, Writing 600) Should I take it again? It would be my third try.
ACT: Haven’t taken… should I?</p>
<p>APs: Freshman year: Human Geography (4); Sophomore year: Euro History (4), Lang (3), World (5); Junior year: US History (5), Env Science (5), Physics B (2 =_=…)
I will be taking the following APs my senior year: Art History, Macro, American Gov, Biology, Psychology, Lit, Calc BC</p>
<p>Class Rank: 10 out of 430
Public School
GPA: 3.976
(I’ve had all A’s except in PE… =_=)</p>
<p>Electives: Latin, Art Design, Photo Design</p>
<p>After-school stuff/Clubs: Volunteer Club (not super active but enough…), BETA club (I will be Communications Sec for my senior year… not an amazing position haha), I have a part-time job, and will be doing Key Club my senior year
I’m not that social/active when it comes to after school activities and clubs. Also I have never done a sport in my life, though I did try volleyball for a week and it was embarrassing.</p>
<p>I’m very strong at math (well physics I really didn’t show that, I’ll explain more later…) and I’m okay when it comes to writing.</p>
<p>I’m all over the place when it comes to majors: Architecture, Art History, Psychology
I was leaning towards Architecture, but my physics score has made me rethink my choice. I didn’t fail the class, I got over 100 each semester. I did learn. I just didn’t put my full attention towards getting credit though… (also we spent like almost our whole first semester on Newtonian Mechanics and our second semester mostly on circuits)
For Art History, I’m very interested in but I really don’t know where it will take me in life…
For Psychology, I want to see how things go in AP Psych and AP Bio. </p>
<p>I’m planning on staying in state (Georgia) because of the HOPE program</p>
<p>Schools:
- Savannah College of Art and Design (Architecture or Art/Architecture History)
- Georgia Tech (Architecture)
- Georgia State (Psychology)
- UGA (Art History or Psychology)</p>
<p>What are my chances? Am I fit for any of the majors I listed? </p>
<p>(Also an current Architecture students: how prepared were you before you got to your freshman year in college? Also how certain were you on your choice?)</p>
