Any opinions! Positive or negative ?

Bump----!! Anyone?

Good chance at UCLA.

Yale, Chicago and Columbia are reach schools.

Thanks for the input!! i’m guessing by reach schools you mean it would be a long shot?

No. More like it could go either way. No matter your stats admissions for those schools are always a crapshoot

Admissions to top schools are a crap shoot. You have as good of a chance as any other applicant. Over 80% of ivy applicants are qualified and between 6 and 12% (cornell is higher) get it. That means they need to turn down most of the applicants even though they are qualified. Best of luck to you, you have a good shot.

Chance me please:

Thanks for the input!! would it make a diference if i mentioned that my first four years of secondary eduacation(six year cycle here) were through a second Language(irish), every subject apart from english was taught through irish??

Are you asking for financial aid?

Yes - i’m also an american citizen so i think that changes the financial aid situation?

Could I just add ! That from today I have been accepted into a mathematical modelling program in a university this summer plus I’m volunteering on a pilgrimage for the elderly to france!! Also scratch columbia !! I’ve decide that princeton is my first choice!

Your ECs are weak, so I’d say Yale and Princeton would be reaches. Your SAT isn’t bad, but it isn’t amazing either, and the only thing that really stands out to me is the karate, but it doesn’t look like you’re too involved in much else.

UCLA is the likeliest admit here, but they won’t give you aid because you’re not in state.
