I have a GPA of 3.6.
I am in the youth comity of my town.
I have my own foundation, I raise money for cancer research.
I am a korfball coach for my sister’s team.
Am I a good candidate for Harvard, Princeton, Yale, or Columbia?

GPA is too low and if your foundation is just a middleman to another organization, that is also pretty weak. Coach is a pretty cool EC, but nothing really shows passion.

GPA counts you out of these schools in my opinion. Their average GPA for acceptance is at least 3.9.

Get yourself a safety!

And show us your ACT/SAT scores as well…

Unless you have stellar test scores, noticeable accomplishments and innovations in cancer research, and great essays, your chances for these schools are meager.

My ACT is 30.
So I need to downgrade my expectations.
But what are my chances for getting into a top 20 University?

Or Woodbury University or Pepperdine. How are my chances there?

30 isn’t bad, but it’s below average - maybe at the 15th percentile - among admits to these schools. Apply if you want; just don’t expect too much.

My instincts are that your chances are good at the other schools you mentioned.

All those schools you listed are beyond a reach.
