What are my chances?

<p>I want to major in Broadcast Journalism, and I am currently looking at University of Texas at Austin, Drake University, USC and NYU.</p>

<p>I’m a junior in high school and id love to go to UT Austin or NYU. Right now I have a weighted GPA of 3.4, but I’m taking all honors and AP classes. I am taking classes at a community college this summer, I’m the basketball manager, commissioner for ASB, I do modeling and pageants, and I volunteer at my youth group at church. I am also a runway coach at my modeling academy. I’m also a first generation Hispanic.
Do I have a shot at any of these schools?</p>

<p>GPA is low. what is your unweighted GPA. I’m assuming 3.1 or 3.0ish so i’d say NYU is a very high reach. Drake you can get accepted but not much scholarship wise really and USC is probably a High reach too. Texas at Austin you should get in.</p>

USC Annenberg: Reach
NYU: Reach
UT-Austin: Reach (unless that’s somehow top-7%)</p>
