What are my chances?

<p>GPA- 3.75 UW
SAT- CR 670 M 720 W 690
Rank- 17/224 Top 10%</p>

<p>Took all honors and AP courses throughout high school. This year I’m taking AP Psychology, Latin 6 Honors, BC Calculus, Biotechnology Honors, AP Literature and Comp, and AP Physics 1.</p>

<p>ECs- Key Club (editor grade 11, president 12), Best Buddies, Latin Club, JCL (Etymology Exam silver medalist 11 and gold medalist 12).</p>

<p>And is there anywhere to put honors? If so, I made honor roll every term, won a book award for the highest grade in my class in a technology course, won a Junior Book Award, and I am a member of NHS. Oh, and I am in century club (top 100 in the school).</p>

<p>BQ- Should I bother with the essay since it’s optional? </p>

<p>Your chances are good, though since you are applying after November 30th it is more competitive. I would definitely do the personal statement. It might be optional, but they do use it if they have any question about your admission status. It only helps you to do it and can hurt you if you don’t. Good luck </p>
