i should probably know how to solve that eqn for my calc AB exam next week. But i dont.

uhm. cos(90)

Your chances are pretty good… those colleges are competitive, but certainly within your range of scores and attributes. They’re not as impossibly hard to get into as Newbyreborn seems to think (which is 0, use L’Hopital’s Rule).

people are generally uncooperative and harsh when it comes to real chances on this kind of thing, so i actually lol suggest that you evaluate yourself. but, since i have also done this of thing and wished i had gotten serious and reasonable considerations, i will give an evaluation as close as i think:

Matches (some strained):
midd, wash u, brandeis, colgate

Reaches:northwestern

Major reaches: duke, cornell, dartmouth

I’d say Northwestern and Cornell are matches or slight reaches (I’ve known people with stats in your ballpark who got into one or the other)

Duke and Dartmouth could be reaches.

i don’t know… i know people with higher stats and they got waitlisted. cornell has been receiving more applicants over the years as it is seen as an “easy” ivy

Read the boards of the colleges to see who got 9n. With many schools still not looking at writing, your scores are well below average for Dartmouth and Duke making them major reaches. The others are match/reaches and will depend on recs, essays, quality of course load, high school, etc. Add some solid match schools and safeties.
