Thanks very much in advance.

rsharm, I don’t usually reply to these chances threads but I just wanted to say that it might help if you indicated which college at NYU you were interested in. You’ll be applying as a transfer, right? Since you’re already studying at a university? Your h/s transcript, etc. will still be important but your university transcript will be most important. Where in Canada are you from? We lived there for many years and I miss it a lot! :)

London, Ontario, Canada.

I’m in HS, I’m just taking one course at University as part of a special program. For Science, which college would you recommend?

London is a nice city. I understand now about the course at Western, and that you’ll be applying as a freshman. For sciences, you should apply to NYU’s College of Arts and Science, CAS. Best of luck to you and start saving your $$! NYU does not give f/a to international students.

bump…

I think you should take SAT IIs, but I think you’ll get in with 1370. I got in with 1290 and my SAT IIs bombed really badly. But I had like a 4.0 GPA and had 4 varsity letters. I was also an out of state Canadian student. Vancouver actually…so I think you’ll be fine. You’ll love the city! Make sure you send them everything you have. I sent in a tape of my music concert.that helped too probably. Good luck!

Thanks very much for your input.

Bump!

Sorry!
