How many years of community college do I have to do to get into colleges like UCSD, USU, UCLA, etc…? And how much would the tuition be?
You’d have to do 2 years, OOS tuition, then transfer, and pay OOS tuition as well. The OOS UC cost is $55k per year. Will your family pay that?
You didn’t graduate from a Calif high school, so you’ll be OOS for tuition and you will not qualify for aid.
UC’s accept Junior level transfers (60 semester/90 quarter units) which is around 2 years at a CCC. California CCC’s have articulation agreements in the form of TAG or TAP, so if you are considering transferring, it is in your best interests to attend a California CCC. California CCC transfers get priority.
