Thanks!

Intended major? And since your are OOS, my usual question is are these schools affordable at $55K/year with little no financial aid?
UCSB is the only school on your list that considers level of interest. Are you being recruited for Soccer?

Environmental studies/policy… Money is no issye

*issue

Not being recruited. What do you mean that UCSB is the ink school that considers interest?

If you check the common dataset for each school on your list, you will find the UCSB is the only school which considers an applicant’s interest in the school as part of the application review. The other UC’s, UCLA/UCSC and UCSD do not consider an applicant’s interest in the school for admission purposes. You stated that you had been in contact with reps from the schools so I assumed you thought that this would help in the admission process.

You have a good GPA which helps for the UC’s since they are very GPA focused but your current ACT is below the 25th percentile for UCSD and UCLA.

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:
UCLA: 14%
UCSD: 39%
UCSB: 49%
UCSC: 83%

UCSC: Match
UCSB: High Match
UCSD: Low Reach
UCLA: Reach

You might want to add UC Davis which is highly ranked for Environmental Studies/Science and Policy. It would be a Match-High Match for you.
