I am a rising high school senior in the class of 2018. I have a weighted gpa of 4.47 and an unweighted gpa of 3.84. I am extremely active in extracurricular activities such as track, national honor society, and JROTC. I have been featured in several news articles and have received numerous academic awards. However, I cannot achieve a good standardized test score. My standing act score is a 19 and I made a 1370 on the old sat. I have retaken the act but have not yet received my scores. I want to become a doctor or engineer and attend a good college but I believe that my standardized test scores will hold be back. I want to attend North Carolina State University or UNC Chapel Hill. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice for me in my current situation?
