MY HS is one of the top 5 public schools in my state, New Jeresy

i dont know… my SATs are higher than yours and my grades are probably a little better. I still have not heard from them yet and everyone i know who has applied has heard

bump anyone? btw, i am the same person

ok, so I’m from state college, and know a lot about psu. we’re pretty sure that they have a formula and plug in the numbers, and if you’re above a certain amt you get in. you’ve got good scores/grades, and ecs. they won’t give a crap about what your ecs are or what the awards are unless you’re close, and they won’t read the essay unless you’re close either. honestly, with so many applicants per year, there’s no reasonable way they can review all of them and get you your decision in 4 working days (at least that’s when I got mine, but I sent mine in early).

The formula for Penn State involves three numbers. Your SAT1 plus double your class rank-if the school does not provide it, they assign one from what I understand, and it is not always favorable to be assigned from their chart. The third number is the date of you application, always a factor for rolling admissions schools.

Your SAT’s are pretty good for PSU- I don’t know if you’re GPA will hurt you but you def. improved throughout highschool and have a ton of EC’s, so you should get it. But you really should get your app in ASAP to have the best chance.
