<p>I really want to go to Caltech. My test scores and my GPA are at Caltech level, but I know that’s not enough to get in. I’ve never even been past USAMO. My “hooks” are:</p>
<li><p>Currently taking classes at a local college.</p></li>
<li><p>Did math research last summer at the same college.</p></li>
</ol>
<p>What do you think? Is this enough?</p>
