I am aiming for 750/750 for math and verbal for the SATs.

I swim competitively all year round. I will be captain next year. I have 2 individual school records and 1 relay record. This year I was All-State in the 500 freestyle and I qualified for State Opens in the 200 IM and the 500 freestyle. For my U.S. team, I have qualified for Sectional meets, I have achieved Scholastic All-American and Scholar-Athlete. I would like to swim Division I.
I also play tennis for high school but on a much less competitive scale and I probably won’t play in college.
I plan on doing leadership such as coaching kids on my swim team to get into the National Honor Society.
I have 125 hours of community service.

White. Middle-class.

College list (not really in order):
Fordham University, George Washington University, American University, Georgetown University, LaSalle University, Stamford University, Harvard University

I think you have an excellent shot. 2 of my friends got in this year. One of tehm had an 1180 SAT and ranked in the top 6% i think, the other is ranked in the top 1% and has a 1320 SAT. I would say you’ll be okay.

if ur recruitable to the point those colleges would want u, ur academic standards far exceed minimum athletic requirements. columbia especially lowers its academic standards for swimmers, as in, kids who would be matches at virginia tech, so if ur interested, try.

I meant Stanford.

sorry wrong post…but good luck.
