What are my chances?

My class rank is low; a large amount of people take classes for the easy A in my school dragging ranks down, so I’m wondering about my chances.

ME
I’m a white Caucasian male Wisconsinite whose parents both attended Emory, my dad’s a doctor. I’m applying Regular Decision.

SCHOOL
Our school does not offer weighted GPA.

Regularily volunteer to contribute to school orchestra

I want to major in something engineering-related, possibly minor in music/join a marching band as drumline.

You have an average chance for admission (27%) RD. Above average (60%) if you apply ED.

Why is it that my chances are so much better applying ED? Unfortunately that’s impossible for me at this time :(

Lol greenwinter we have exactly the same scores in SAT math/CR and on all three AP’s that i ever took. Grade situation is sort of the same too, hahah…Parents doctors and the like as well…strange

i hope i get in too  reg

Agreed - average chance of admission

Scores are good but GPA may be a disadvantage
