  • SMART team - joined since freshman year and attended a science conference at San Diego, CA this year

  • Everytown Camp Club - formed this club after participating in Camp Everytown (a leadership camp) in the summer of freshman year to promote peace and non-prejudice at school

<p>I’m REALLY passionate about science, so most of my EC and classes are science related.
also, I am really motivated and set high standards for myself.
I came to the U.S. five years ago without knowing any English and worked really hard to climb up to the level i am at right now.</p>

i have about the same stats as you and i got in RD</p>

<p>you should get in pending that you have won some pretty good awards from piano, cuz i also play and i have one some tri-state awards
the iimportant thing about your activities is not how many, but much interest you show and far you pursue them</p>

<p>btw leadership positions always help
i had several, but that was my weak area</p>

<p>Your stats are about the same as mine, except a higher GPA. And you have way better ECs and I got in.</p>

<p>You seem strong in a lot of areas (extracurricular, GPA, ACT, APs); your courseload could have been more challenging but I’d bet on you making it.</p>
