what are my chances?

<p>i have a 3.8 GPA and a 1970 on the SAT. im involved in national honor society(secretary), national spanish honor society(secretary), civinettes(secretary), and key club. i am also a junior marshal. i play tennis, do karate, and play the piano. i volunteer at the hospital every single summer for at least 40 hours or so. i do a great amount of other community service also. im going to do research this summer on p53. what are my chances to get into NYU and direct med programs?</p>

<p>I’d say NYU is a reach for you because of your SAT score. If you can up it to 2050 or so, I’d say you’d have a good chance of getting in.</p>

<p>im in IB. so all my classes are IB which i think are on the same level or harder than AP. but i did take AP calculus and AP US history. class rank…im in the top 20 out of about 300 students or so.</p>
