Your reading SAT score is a bit inconsistent-looking, since your other sections are 700s, but it’s all good in the hood, as they say :]

If you’re into more of a country-esque school, then I highly recommend UC Davis, as well. It’s a lot like UC Irvine, but in a more rural setting. Beautiful landscapes, and it’s near the California capital. Strong, strong medical program (more so than UC Berk!). I suggest you consider it.

Rice - Never heard of this school.
UT(austin) - Yep…I guess. I don’t know too much about Texan schools (I’m from California)

Ah, here we go! :P
UCLA - I will say not really for now, because with your being out of state and all…but you still have a chance.
UC berkeley - Same as UCLA, but to a slightly heightened level. UCLA/Berkeley are VERY competitive schools.
UC Irvine - Yep.
UC santa barbara - Most definitely.
UC santa monica - There’s no such thing, Hahaha. Unless you mean UC Santa Cruz? If so, then yes you have great shot at UCSC.
USC - I guess so.
University of Washington - Don’t know.

has never heard of Washington University =P
I think considering your grades and SAT scores, you could look into even better colleges than that. A lot of those you listed I would consider safeties for you.

Aren’t the UCs really tough to get into out-of-state? I’d definitely try broadening your list beyond state schools. Definitely look into some private schools - the costs are similar to OOS tuition and you won’t be competing with students from in-state.
