What Are My Chances?

Tulane is one of my top 2 choices, and, without a scholarship, I will not be able to attend. What are my chances for receiving one of the merit-based awards?

THANK YOU

You should easily get an academic scholarship. Tulane is generous in this area and your SAT scores will put you in the top 25% of the incoming class…and your GPA is strong also.

Also, if I were to apply into biomedical engineering, do my odds lower or does Tulane not look at your field of interest?

I think you’ll definitely get in if you apply early enough. The earlier you apply, the better your chance. I think you’ll be able to get in with biomedical engineering because not many students do that major. They probably want more engineers because it’s rare to find students who want to be engineers there.
