What are my chances?

Hello! I am currently a junior in high school. I go to a great high school in Indiana and have a 3.94 GPA (unweighted) and 4.3 (weighted). I am currently taking 4 AP courses:
AP US History
AP Literature
AP Computer Science
AP Chemistry

My PSAT scores: writing: 640; critical reading: 680; math: 740
I have yet to take the SAT…

I am in my school robotics team, quiz bowl, math club, and rank 4th in Indiana on MATHFAX (don’t know if MIT even considers that). I am exceptional at math theory but it takes me longer than whiz kids to solve the more difficult math problems in math contests.

Also, I have an immense affinity for electrical and computer engineering. Biomedical engineering is also a viable option for me. Because of my love of engineering I am considering applying to MIT. I also love being overwhelmed with opportunity and being around students who do wacky stuff with technology regularly. What are my chances of getting admitted to MIT if I get similar SAT scores? Assistance is much appreciated :D

PSAT scores don’t come back until december unless you took it as a sophomore…

You can find admissions statistics for MIT here: [MIT Admissions: Admissions Statistics](http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/apply/admissions_statistics/index.shtml)

Ultimately, though, your scores are only a very small part of your application, and given good scores and grades, MIT is more concerned with other factors in your application.
