<p>I applied to the dual program of arts and sciences for psychology/ newhouse for magazine
I have a 4.0 gpa
1870 SAT
700 verbal
610 writing
560 math
i have taken
AP Euro-3
AP US-4
AP Lang-5
AP Physics-2
and biology and two psychology classes at the local college and i got A’s in all three
I have been in journalism for 3 years and am currently senior editor as well as centerspread editor.
I have been on swim team for four years and am varsity girls captain. </p>

<p>You need to request an interview from Syracuse admissions. It may be too late at this point, but you can try calling admissions.</p>

<p>I am also applying to 'Cuse but as undecided. Newhouse is the #1 Communications department in America and I know people who have had high 1900s on their SATS with a 3.7 gpa and did not get into Newhouse.
