Hi, I am trying to apply for FSU and UF and study in accounting. What are my chances of getting in to this two school. And if you could give me some comments on which University’s accounting major is better in terms of degree and education, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.(●’◡’●)

With a 21 ACT it’s going to be very tough, for both FSU and UF.
Though your gpa is solid, your test scores unfortunately do not match it. It’s not impossible for you to get in, but it will be very tough. If they have essays, you need to know them out of the park. Do you know what your gpa is when they recalculate it?

@JPGator98 I am considering just using my redesigned SAT score, since it much more closer to the MINIMUM rSAT score of both UF and FSU. What you think?
I think you have a decent chance at FSU, UF is a very high reach.

Schools usually will recalculate your Gpa to give everyone a fair chance because high schools all calculate differently. For instance, your high school might add an extra quality point for AP classes while other schools add an extra two points before averaging, so most colleges will make it fair and redo the weighted gpa by looking at the raw grades and then create their own gpa for you. I’m not sure if I explained that well, but basically it takes everyone’s grades and rigor equally into account.
