What are my weighted and unweighted GPAs on a 4.0 scale?

<p>I can’t calculate your weighted because most schools do it differently.</p>

<p>But unweighted:</p>

<p>22(4.0) + 1(3.7)/23 = 3.986</p>

<p>Cody’s method does not distinguish between the different levels within an A and a B, which, judging from his location, is because he’s from California, where this is the system the UCs use to rate. In another method, a 90 = 3.5, 91 = 3.6 and so on. so, yours would equal a 4.2+, I think, or still be considered a 4.0.</p>

<p>Weighted, depends on the method your school uses to weight.</p>

To play it safe, I just calculated my GPA with grades 9-11 using this [How</a> to Convert Your GPA to a 4.0 Scale](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>How to Convert (Calculate) Your GPA to a 4.0 Scale – BigFuture) and I came up with 3.98. That was 14 4.0s and 1 3.7.</p>

<p>SDonCC - are you saying that the 90 I received in physics should be a 3.5 instead of a 3.7? Is there a standard method for calculating weighted GPAs in college admissions? I only ask because I am applying to Villanova which uses a weighted GPA.</p>
