<p>Can someone who’s lived in Oakland tell me about the rooms? I’m trying to figure out what stuff to bring. I’m in a semi-suite. I looked at the room layout, and it looks like there is no closet, just a couple of shelves? And the dresser looks smaller than the one in the freshman dorms-more like a nightstand. I called reslife for the room size and they said they didn’t have the info. Thanks!</p>

<p>There are two closets by the door (entrance to the room). To give perspective to their size, the door to each closet is the same as the door to the room.</p>
<p>The beds are “semi” lofted. About halfway between the bed height in any other community and the lofted (like bunk bed) height. This is just enough room to put your slightly smaller dresser under the bed.</p>
<p>Warning. Unlike the standard dorms, the walls here are much more fragile. We hung something up and, in the process of taking it off, we took a piece of the dry wall off!</p>
