Also is there a hostel in A2?

I’m looking at this too. I think Tower Plaza, Maynard, University Towers are pretty popular.

The first two are phenomenally expensive. Between 1000-2000 /mo /person. The second is much cheaper (and much crappier.)

Not an accredited International Hostel if you’re a member and that’s what you meant.
Are you a freshman or transferring junior?
If you’re a freshman, are you sure you want to live off campus your first year? Dorms are a great way to get to know people and much lower maintenance than dealing with exploitative landlords
Housing in the UMich area of AA is really inflated and one is always better off financially meeting folks they’d like to share a house with and then doing that in a later year.

Also, there are student apartments on North Campus where you can include a meal plan at a nearby dining hall. Kind of the best of both, IMHO.

I’m getting an apartment at Tower Plaza with 2 other friends, and it comes out to be $450/month/person. Overall, it’s a much cheaper option than doing a dorm, and a more viable option for the cash-strapped.

I’m a freshman and will probably be paying about $500/month for my apartment on central campus. I have another roommate too.l
