Hey everyone! So, I’m very interested in Notre Dame, especially for Pre-Med. First, I want to know some of the good and bad qualities of Notre Dame (campus, people, academics, dorms, etc.). I would appreciate it very much if these comments came from people who have or are currently attending Notre Dame.
Additionally, how is Pre-Med at Notre Dame? Anything special about it? I know that, if I am admitted to Notre Dame and attend, I would complete the Pre-Med Program through the College of Science.
Thank you for your time!
This is coming from a high-schooler that lives about 30 minutes from ND just so you know.
good: very large, beautiful campus
people will look at you like “wow they got in there?”
Lots of research opportunities
plenty of things to do in south bend/mishawaka area
Bad: people may ir may not be snooty there… but thats how many around here will see you
michigan fans will take any chance they can to make fun of you
Neutral: sports everywhere
very hot summers and very cold winters
Many thunderstorms in fall with some tornado warnings ( but they don’t usually form tornadoes)
Edit: sorry i didnt see the part about you wanting ND students/ grads sorry
No, this is great! Thank you!
