What are some good jobs for teenagers that pays good salary???

I know the music teaching place I substitute sometimes has a rate of $24 an hour (with tax and all that mumbo already taken away). It’s sweet.

ah…thanks for all your suggestions! I think I’m going to work at Starbuck’s, its pretty good pay and it doesn’t seem as hard compare to other jobs such as waitress and stuff.
Plus, I have experience with serving customers and using the cash register because I worked in my parent’s restaurant since I was 11 years old. I think I’m off to a good start, it might not be as hard to me than other people. Although, I have no experience whatsoever with coffee, I know how to different kinds of smoothies though! ;]

^If you haven’t heard, the economy is bad. Which means people cut things like coffee out of their budget. Which means Starbucks is doing badly. Which means they are not hiring. In fact, they are laying off people like crazy.

Has anyone said professional athletics yet?

Starbucks doesn’t hire high school students.

Ive ALWAYS wanted to work at a bakery, the ones especially for cakes and pastires and stuff!!! It would be heaven for my nose and taste buds.

I have a friend who works at a law firm. She actually went through the entire phonebook and called lawyers in our city to see if they wanted an intern. She earns $9 per hour, I think. Not that much, but it would be really great to put on college applications.

Babysitting. I babysit a few times a month. It’s not a consistent job, but I generally make ~$10 an hour (I’ve made like $160 in the past month), and it’s pretty easy. No qualifications necessary.

It’d probably be hard to find jobs that pay a really good salary, after all you’re only a teenager and it’s hard enough for qualified adults to find jobs in this economy. Ask chain stores such as fast-food places or even local businesses. You could also become a paid “peer” tutor or a babysitter.

Starbucks does hrie high school students

they do where I lived…

best thing to work on is a small business like as a receptionist for a doctor or therapist, a bus boy in your local diner, etc.
