<p>Look at internships at the theatres in Chicago. Do you know what you want to pursue as a career?</p>
<p>Not quite. Performing would be amazing, but I’d do anything behind the scenes or with management…or…well, anything. As far as English goes, I’ve considered trying to work for a newspaper/magazine (but that’s very competitive, I know).</p>

<p>Check this out to get a taste of what kinds of internships many theatres offer. There are lots theatres in Chicago with similar internship programs, some are summer positions, and some are full-year positions appropriate for those who have just graduated.</p>
