I am trying to find some merit-based scholarships to apply for. I already know of Coca-Cola, Robert Byrd, Elks, and Horatio Alger. Are there any other scholarships out there that are similar to these? It seems that most of them are (rightfully) for minorities and low-income students. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Aren’t Robert Byrd, Elks, and Horatio Alger all scholarships which depend on financial need?

Yes, but need is not a requirement for those scholarships, only a consideration. My family income is well above average, but my parents expect me to pay for most of the tuition costs with scholarships and personal savings. So, anyone know of other scholarships which can be won without having financial need?

With Horatio Alger, it’s almost guaranteed you will not place if your parents are well off. Sorry.
