What are some procedures that dentists do?

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could answer my question posted in the title. I’ve never really had many complicated dental procedures such as fillings, etc (which I’ve heard is done by the endodontist) so all I’ve seen when I go to the dentist is him looking at my mouth for literally 3 minutes, and saying everything is good. Is that really all dentists do, because I could never have a job that boring? So I was wondering if you could list the type of procedures done by GP dentists, and if possible, other specialities (only perio, prostho, OMFS, or Ortho since these are the only ones I lke).

Thanks in advance.

Next time you go, why don’t you ask him?

root canals, fillings, orthodonts do braces, remove wisdom teeth, iono those are the ones off the top of my head besides just cleaning teeth.
