<p>I know usually it’s just random, but are there any specific reasons?</p>
<p>Have any of you ever gotten a reason from a school when asking why you were waitlisted? (i.e, not enough ec’s, etc…)</p>
<p>Well, I haven’t been waitlisted, but common reasons are:</p>
<p>-Financial Aid
-The school knows you have good enough stats to go to a “better” school, so they waitlist you because they know if you’re accepted at the ‘better’ school you’ll go there.</p>

<p>Nice app, stats, recs, grades, etc., but no compelling hook (dominate athlete, world-class musician, rich legacy, under represented minority, etc.)</p>
