What are somer nice small liberal art colleges that will not taboo mildily conservative beliefs.

I’m not a screaming lefty, and I am going to transfer schools.

All of them.

It’s a myth that schools taboo conservative beliefs.

Sometimes a small minority of students in a tiny minority of schools get upset one way or another, but it would be far fetched to say that the school itself does bans any ideas. Usually the professors and administration welcome diverse ideas in the classrooms and in the student body.

Be prepared to vigorously defend and support any ideas that you put forth if you’re at a school that’s worthwhile, IMHO.

There have been instances of some conservative schools that ban some ideas. For example Wheaton in Illinois fired a professor for wearing a head scarf. Liberty escorted a liberal speaker off campus. Catholic University of America banned a production of Angels in American from being performed on its campus grounds and doesn’t fund the gay-supportive club while funding the other clubs on campus.

Vassar, in contrast, has a long-standing conservative club that produces a publication.

For some reason, in this media atmosphere, IMHO stoked by such firebrand entities as Breitbart and Daily Caller, all you hear about is the protest at a handful of liberal-leaning schools, however. Maybe smarter minds than mine can explain why this is.

Moody Bible Institute in news out today – another example of a conservative institute of higher education that dampens free speech on the liberal side. Will this be picked up by mainstream press? Touted, as happens with more liberal campuses in the media, as evidence of untenable bias against liberals? Probably not. That’s my guess. In any event it seems that Moody’s core constituents are outraged that it has hired faculty who don’t view the bible as unerring in all ways. A faculty member who supports Planned Parenthood. Atmosphere is said to be one of fear and intimidation.

Almost every good liberal arts school is wildly liberal at the faculty and administrative level.

You just have to accept and deal with it.

wildly liberal – playing fast and loose with opinions, I see.
