What are summer programs?
All programs are different, but a typical summer program involves a group of students staying at a college for a few weeks and taking some kind of academic class (usually non-credit, but it depends) that has been organized by the program (or, alternatively, working one-on-one with a professor on a research project). Most summer programs are pretty expensive, but some of them are free or offer financial aid.
