What are the affordable colleges with rolling admission?

Hi,
I’ve just taken my SAT on the 29th of January and I’ve got to decide the colleges by this monday! I’m trying my luck for Fall 2009, but I think it’s quite late, isn’t it?

I want to study medicine, so, my first degree would have to be related to that, perhaps bio, biochem, biomedical sciences, or any other choices? I don’t know if it would help, but I’m quite involved in the music area, in school, and outside school. Are there colleges which consider this an advantage?

P.S. I live outside the US =)

Thanks!

Start by reading everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) at: [EducationUSA

After that, you can research individual rolling admission schools on this list: Late & Rolling Deadline Schools](http://educationusa.state.gov/home/education-usa/global-left-nav/undergraduate-study)

You can major in any field of study (music, archaeology, biochemistry, whatever most appeals to you) and apply to med school. You only need to take the pre-med course series to be considered pre-med.

Thanks happymomof1! Of the late deadline schools, which are the better ones (more reputable and provide quality education) for pre-med or sciences? Or are there any reputable colleges which offer spring admission 2010?

If not, I’m doomed! I’ll have to wait till Fall 2010. One year wasted =(

A lot of good public universities have Feb 1 application deadlines and allow you to apply on-line. The University of Michigan and the University of Wisconsin, for example, both have very strong programs in the biological sciences and are outstanding public universities. I believe both also have a separate admissions cycle for the Spring 2010 term. Check their websites.

You can receive a very fine education at any of the colleges/universities on the rolling and late admission list provided you select your courses appropriately, and apply yourself to your studies. Most of what you will get out of your colleges experience is up to you, not to the institution that you attend.
