Here are 3 and from there it can vary depending on what you personally like. I mean, I like Star Wars so there are star wars forums to go to. If you like fashion there are fashion sites. If you’re into anime there are anime sites. If you’re into the latest and fastest cars there are car sites. etc.

[Breaking News and Opinion on The Huffington Post](http://www.huffingtonpost.com) - I can get SUCKED into this website for hours. It’s bad. It has any freaking topic you are looking for in the news, and a lot of opinionated stuff.

^It’s stupid to go to class with the specific intention to be surfing the internet all class, but sometimes things get a bit more boring than you’d expect, lol.

Facebook is pretty much my staple. There’s a thing at my school called the Badger Herald Shout Outs where people can write whatever they want and they’re posted on one site, they’re always hilarious. Cracked is good. I like to play Minesweeper too - in fact, if I’m playing Minesweeper on kind of autopilot (I’m very good at it) I wind up listening to whatever’s going on in class quite well. It’s weird.

“Why go to class if you are not even planning to pay attention to the material?”

This. Even when I go to class with the intention of not paying attention (which is basically every economics class), I take the book and self study the material.

If I were going to surf the internet during class, I would probably be looking at Cal Newport. Might as well be doing something productive.

(Also, I’m really jealous of people that get to look at Cracked during school. It was banned as ‘adult content’ at my last school, and I don’t bother bringing my laptop to class at this one.)

sometimes important announcements are made in class so you just go to make sure you don’t miss anything. some people think they can learn foreign languages in their sleep… maybe it’s the same way here :P

I don’t go to class with the intention of surfing the internet while the professor talks. Chemistry is just REALLY boring and when he’s reading directly off the slides (something I can do myself) but attendance is mandatory, I show up, sign my name and listen for as long as I can stand it and then split screen Facebook, Perez Hilton or Jet Punk with the PowerPoint lecture notes. Multi-tasking, ftw.
