What are the chances for students who aren't stacked?

Ive been around this forum for a couple of weeks and most people seem to have 2200+ SATs and an entire grocery list of extra-curriculars.
So I am wondering do top colleges like UChicago Stanford and the Ivies only take applicants with these kind of stats?
Are there any actual percentages available that can help answer this question?

I myself am someone who basically runs everything for his family and never had a lot of time for EC’s and don’t have spectacular test scores. Does someone like me even stand a chance?

Here is my chance thread if anyone is interested:

Do you have Naviance? It will show you the test scores and GPAs of past students at your school to help you get an understanding of where you stand.

I am sure under the holistic process schools will look at what you do to support family. But unfortunately, this is particularly difficult to verify/evaluate and I that is going to be your hook I suggest gearing letters of rec towards this.

Also, how far off form 2200+ are you and what is class rank. Per the Ivy academic index (see the Ivy Coach blog for information about the index) the single largest factor in selection is class rank with sal or val status being worth over 100 extra SAT points. So if you are at the top of your class with a 2150 SAT and substantial family obligations you may be in the running at some top schools. If you are top 20% with a 2000 SAT probably not.

No I don’t have Naviance. I never took the SAT but I received an 32 on the ACT which can be equivalent to around a 2100 (though I highly doubt colleges do conversions). I am ranked 7 out of about 700 students, its all in the chance thread I listed. Here I am just looking for some general answers, I will look into Naviance though thank you.

Edit: I just found some passwords on google, it just seems to be a website where they show you the middle 50% of test scores. I would like some more imput on the EC’s side of it.
