I am a Dentist from India. I am not able to do practice here in US so I am thinking of doing MBA in Healthcare Administration from Strayer Univeristy. I dont have much idea about getting a job from a univeristy like Strayer. I am not expecting a high pay job. What are my chances of getting any job if I do MBA from Strayer.
It sounds like you want to be sponsored by a U.S. company in order to stay in the U.S.
Well, in order for you to be employed, the employer would have to indicate to the INS that there are no U.S. candidates available for that position before hiring a nonresident. (A lot of US employers do not want to take the time nor the money to fill out that immigration paperwork, especially when there are available US candidates.)
A “degree” from a for-profit school, with dozens of locations, might not be viewed in the best light by a health organization.
Look into TWU, Texas A&M Commerce, UNT, UTA, etc. There are affordable programs from traditional schools. Strayer is considere a diploma mill by some. Your chances will be hit or miss on jobs.
Strayer is an online “university”, correct? A degree from Strayer will not be valued as highly as a degree from a traditional brick and mortar school. The educational experiences are definitely not the same.
