What are the chances of getting accepted to UC Berkeley on the 24th of March?

For nearly every other UC I was notified of my acceptance before the date it was supposed to be announced. (UC Santa Cruz was the only one who notified me right on the day)

UC Berkeley is going to release their decisions on the 24th this month, but I’m feeling a bit anxious about whether they will accept me or not. Just like any other student, they sent me scholarships to apply for but I never did and since the 1st of March they stopped sending me scholarships to apply for and reminders.

Also, a while ago they had sent me an email saying that I can send in letters of rec, but I never did.

Would Berkeley take this as an extreme lack of interest in being accepted and deny my acceptance?

UCB does not consider an applicant’s level of interest in admission decisions.

What about as it gets closer to the 24th? Is the chance of being accepted lowered?

The date you’re accepted really doesn’t have anything to do with chances. No one knows whether or not they’ve gotten into Berkeley yet unless they were one of the 2000 notified Feb 12. The rest of us are all getting our decisions the 24.
