what are the main first quarter courses?

<p>for freshman, and especially for RTVF (film) majors in SoC, what are the main courses you take in the first quarter?
do i even have any option to choose for the first quarter??</p>

<p>oh, and btw, any must-take courses at NU? (i’ve heard good things about Russian lit)</p>

<p>I’m saying this with absolutely know knowledge of the school of communications. But pretty much you can take whatever classes you want. I’d figure that you might take 1 -2 fairly decent sized film classes, then 2 electives. </p>

<p>I know that in McCormick (Engineering) the courses are more predetermined and you have to take them when available. </p>
