Correct; if you find a user annoying, feel free to add the user to the ignore list. Just because one person finds it annoying does not mean that everyone will.
What I am referencing is the poster who violates Terms of Service, like a poster who tells the same story over and over and over again and has nothing to do with the topic of the thread.
“The posters who…” and “the parents who…”, when used in the general sense, are fine. The posts that follow the structure of your last sentence is what I have an issue with, i.e. the posts that reference a particular poster that everyone here knows the poster being referenced.
It’s a subtle distinction, but using an earlier post as an example:

Then we all know who we’re talking about., and that is not fine. Plus it’s not civil.
So continue to call out posts that make you laugh, cry, scream, etc., but don’t shame an individual poster - that’s just not cool.
