lville vs. hill (supposedly- but in my expierience its more lville vs. peddie)

mx vs. groton

nobles vs milton
st marks vs groton
exeter vs andover
middlesex vs st georges
hotchkiss vs taft

there are plenty others
(and izzy you are right, mx also has a mini rivalry with groton)

Andover vs Exeter is the oldest rivalry in prep school history and then Deerfield vs Choate and so on.

Biggest, oldest west coast rivalry: Cate and Thacher

in philadelphia -

penn charter vs. germantown academy (including the oldest highest school football rivalry in the country)

episcopal academy vs. haverford school

Long standing rivals, with a Peddie Day hosted by the schools each year, involving all of the sports and a coveted Peddie Cup Trophy for the overall winner at the end of the day. Tremendous amount of healthy competition, a lot of campus energy and fun.

basically, any BS hates all other BSes (unless it’s like a Porter’s/Avon thing)

Have to disagree - the Peddie/Blair rivalry is actually a very healthy competition between schools, and being it is a day long competition with many sports teams involved, campus parties and gatherings, it is a very healthy, anticipated day with cheering for both schools all day long, culminating in the Peddie Cup, which is traded back and forth over the years. Competition with Class at these BS, but I wouldn’t expect any other from the faculty, students and administration of both elite schools.

Peddie calls the weekend with Blair, Peddie Day? That’s weird…

At Peddie, they call it Blair Day.

George vs Westtown

St. Mark’s traditional athletic rival is the younger Groton School. St. Mark’s high school football rivalry since 1886 with Groton School is one of the oldest athletic rivalries in the United States, following the Andover-Exeter rivalry. The two schools have met in regularly scheduled athletic contests for more than a century. (See the List of high school football rivalries for more information.) St. Mark’s traditionally has a “Groton Day” celebrating this rivalry, just as Groton has a “St. Mark’s Day” with the same sorts of festivities.

^Agreed. I’d say Andover vs. Exeter and Groton vs. St. Mark’s.

Funny someone mentions Mx vs. Groton, because people at Groton don’t really count this one. I believer MX has a “Groton day,” but Groton doesn’t have a “Mx day.”
