<p>middle school: 5-8, ~300 kids
high school: 9-12, ~2000 kids</p>
<p>i love my high school. whether you like small schools really depends on whether you fit into the main crowd there. for me, it was a relief to finally meet other people who like science and literature and nerdy stuff like that. </p>
<p>plus there’s much less drama. if anyone does anything in a small school, it’s permanently tacked onto his/her reputation. no one cares in a larger school. </p>
<p>one con of a big school is that you might not get to have as many classes with your friends. however, it’s worked out well for me in that most of my friends take the same level AP/honors classes as me.</p>
