What are the SAT strategies?

I mean there is no way to know how to do EVERY SINGLE problem! So what are the secrets to scoring high on each section?

Yes, there is a way to do every single problem on each section. I think you just have to get used to it by timing yourself consistently whenever you do practice problems.

If you can’t finish the section, then getting a high score is nearly impossible.
If you leave a couple reading questions blank each section, you’re already at around a 700, not even counting the ones you actually missed.
If you leave even 3 math questions blank (TOTAL) , you’re already at a 700. Writing is almost the same as well.
I’m assuming “high” for each section is at least a 700, so I think you should focus on doing practice tests and getting used to the time constraints of the SAT.

@rdeng2614 Thanks for your reply! However, time is never an issue for me! I always manage to finish each section. However, I leave a few blank because I am unable to figure them out. How is one able to solve every single problem? That’s my main question. Is it actually better to take a guess?

Is this for all the sections, reading writing and math?

If you have the money, then you can purchase the SAT online course. It has 10 practice tests which are similar to the actual thing and for each question, there is an in depth explanation on why the correct answer is right and why the wrong answers are wrong. It is very helpful as the tests are made by the College Board.

@rdeng2614 I see… I was thinking of taking the Kaplan Online Classroom Course with a teacher. I really liked the “track your progress” feature, but I am not sure if it will be effective.

I’m never used that before, but I guess you could try it out. Try to find a notebook or something and gather all the questions you don’t know and google them (for writing/math its easier), the questions are often online if they’re from the blue book, barron’s, sat online course etc. The explanations are generally very good and from the missed questions, you might understand what our weaknesses are.
