<p>what does everyone mean by weak awards…like they’re not regional or national and that they’re just school based?</p>

<p>I tried to set up my application so that it is a whole rather than several parts, so they rely on each other a bit in trying to look better, and there is, in theory, no clear cut “weak spot”</p>
<p>Regardless, I’d say:</p>
<p>Strength: ACT score
Weakness: Essay (took a risk), or GPA (4 more B’s than I’d like to have)</p>
<p>oh, and i don’t really have many academic awards. our school doesn’t really have awards they give out, and i don’t know of many other ways to get them.</p>
<p>Strongest: ECs (volunteer, leadership), SAT (it’s not a 2400 but I still consider it strong enough)
Weakest: 10th grade G.P.A. [more Bs than I’d like to have]</p>
<p>Do privates calculate 10-11 or 9-11 for GPA? If it’s 9-12, I’m fine, but if it’s 10-11, I think I’d be a bit on the weaker side.</p>
<p>My Strongest - Extracurriculars, course load, GPA except for Freshmen year, IB Diploma, letters of rec.</p>
<p>My Weakest - Extracurriculars (all clubs started this year), GPA Freshmen year, no work experience.</p>
<p>Testing could be either 2180 out of two SATs, 33 ACT, 5s on Calc BC and Comp Sci AB, 5s on IB History SL and Comp Sci (out of 7).</p>
