<p>In other words, what are some good reach schools for a lower-middle class white male majoring in biology/pre-med with these stats:</p>
<p>class rank: my school doesn’t do class ranks anymore but I would be at least top 10%.</p>
<p>GPA: 3.8 uw / 4.0w</p>
<p>SAT: Read 720, math 680, writing 650, total 2050 (superscore from two tests)</p>
<p>ACT: english 33, math 34, reading 25, science 26, combined english/writing 30,
composite 30 (only took once)</p>
<p>Subject SAT: mathIIc 740, us history 700,chem 660</p>
<p>AP tests: us history 5, world history 5, physics 3</p>
<p>rigor of secondary school schedule:
freshman: honors bio, honors geometry, honors social studies, english 9
sophomore: CHS chem, AP world history, honors alg.2,honors english
Junior: AP Physics, AP us history, honors trig/pre-calc, honors american lit
Senior: AP Chem, AP government, CHS Calculus, honors world lit.</p>
<p>ECs - just assume they are average, no hook/passion/special talent or anything like that
essay - decent
recommendations - pretty good.</p>
<p>I wanted my reach schools to by ivy league but who am I kidding? After receiving my subject SATs today, I really don’t have a shot. So I need some help picking some new ones. I’m really just looking for schools that are good for pre-med/sciences.</p>
