What are the values and benefits of being a double major?

<p>I am planning to double major in economics and psychology. I will be graduating soon with a bachelors of science degree in psychology and I have a huge interest in the field of economics. I want to know what is the value and the benefits of having 2 degrees in general? </p>

<p>-I have a interest of becoming a stock broker</p>

<p>-I am constantly researching the pros and cons of having double majors and I am planning to talk to my college advisers soon</p>

<p>-It will just take 2 years for me to graduate with Economics Bachelors of Science</p>

<p>In my opinion, the biggest benefit of having a 2nd major is that it gives you more options. Opens more doors I guess.</p>
