What are unrestricted elective units?

<p>Sorry, I don’t know where to place this or ask this question:</p>

<p>Part of my major’s requirements states that I have to take 15 additional units that are unrestricted elective units.</p>

<p>Are these any classes I can take as long as they are offered at my institution in general, or are they just units I have to take that can be anything within my department, college that offers my particular major? </p>

<p>Basically, anything you want. You can apply them to a double major/minor or just take whatever looks interesting and fits into your schedule.</p>
