<p>I don’t think there is a level at which students automatically qualify for Merit money at Michigan. But for students to have a real shot at hefty scholarships, a high GPA (3.8/4.0unweighed or better) and a solid SAT (over 750 in each section of the SAT or a 33+ on the ACT) are the standard. But like I said, there are no rules or guarantees.</p>
