Range finders are also a good gift for boaters who anchor. It’s useful to keep track of distances to boats and to shore.

Thank you for the free Apple TV! H just signed up.

Do you have to make another Best Buy purchase???

I didn’t just now. But receipt is not immediate, still waiting several minutes later for order to finish processing.

@GKUnion i just got my husband the frogger towel. Looks really nice, I should have got one for myself.

He loves his winter golf gloves. He actually has two pair. One for cold days and a thicker pair for really cold days .

Range finder, he has a fancy garmin watch which does the same thing. And records workouts. But not under $100

You may have checked already…are you sure you can’t download those apps yourself? Or does it give you an error when you try to download? I got an LG TV last year and I love it. I used to have Apple TV attach to it, but found it worked better without it. I had a Samsung before and it died in few years. It was a big disappointment.
In LG there is an APPs function for me to install new apps. Does Sony have that.

Amazon fire stick is a very cheap solution for missing tv apps or poor tv integrated user interface. (Nothing against Apple TV+, which I also use. But the fire stick is worth a look too.)

@BunsenBurner thanks for that link. I had actually been looking at the Viofo already based on people’s comments on Reddit and other social media. I decided to get the one recommended in the article you linked. Ordered it last night and it was already delivered early this afternoon!

I tried redeeming but it told me I am not eligible because I’ve “already redeemed a similar offer in the past”, which is true. Since my subscription status shows expired February 25, I guess I did it last year! It’s not worth trying to figure out a way around this.

Golf balls are always good (if you know what he prefers/uses). Costco has a nice CaddyTek rangefinder for $99.99. Gift cards for a nearby golf simulator can be a fun gift for winter if he doesn’t live in a warm state. Gift cards for the courses he frequently plays - either golf or the clubhouse/restaurant - are always nice to get.

I checked and can’t download the apps I want. If we got an LG TV, which was available in the size we wanted, it would have supported the apps we want. My H was adamant about the Sony TV.

Has anyone tried Kizik’s??? They are athletic/sneakers that you can put on hands free.

I’m tempted by these simply because I like the way they look and they have so many great colors. Would be a good price to try them.

If you really can’t download the Apple TV+ app (or other apps), you just need a streaming device like a Roku or Amazon Fire stick, which you can probably get for under $20. Did you mean you were looking for a deal on Apple TV, which is a streaming device (costing over $100), not Apple TV+, the streaming service?

Have not tried the kizik shoes but bought a pair of the sketcher’s step in.

Step in shoes = game changer! Can’t tell you how much I love them to run out the door. Go to the mail box. Great shoes to have next to the door.

I would buy the kizik if I hadn’t just bought the sketchers. $59 is a really good price.

I’m seeing online that they run a little small so to size up - was hoping someone here could comment on sizing!

My little kid wore a pair of Kiziks when she was pregnant. As soon as she could tie normal shoes again, she swore off them and I now have that pair as my garden shoes. We both wear size 40 euro/9-10 US, and her pregnancy Kiziks were size 9.5. Her shoes are black and are kind of ugly.

I also own a pair Skechers Stepins, and they are not as ugly IMO. They also look smaller than they are. Mine are size 9.5.

ETA: these are my Skechers:

I second the suggestion of a Roku. We equipped every TV with these inexpensive devices. Work like a charm to view anything streaming!
