What are YOU asking for Christmas?

My dh always wants a list and I always struggle making one. I pretty much buy what I want but I thought maybe some of your wants could be ideas for me. We donate to charities together so it can’t be that.

UHaul sells a Christmas tree duffle bag that could replace the ratty original box our tree currently lives in. I sent a link to D1 and asked for it.

I often struggle with ideas, but this year I asked for an office chair (there is a nice mesh one at Costco that I use at work that I love) and/or a basic sewing machine. I haven’t done any sewing in years, but have some “upcycled clothing” ideas I want to try.

It’s also always a win when someone buys me cake decorating supplies, or GC for a massage at my favorite place. Or Amazon GC’s.

My brother is an artist (recently discovered talent!)…so I asked for one of his works to be framed. Got it last week

This year I am truly just happy to spend it together with my family. I played the game and gave a few ideas to my daughters ( i.e. oven mitts , wooden spoons, and silicone spatulas ) Gifts don’t appeal to me these days at all

I can never think of anything. People get mad at me when I say money but I have everything I need and more… all I want to do is pay down my student debt!

I like giving gifts, but I am a horrible person to shop for.

to quote any number of Miss America contestants: World Peace

But really…I don’t want any more stuff.

I want no more stuff! But I would be really pleased if one of the 3 men in my life would give some serious time and thought into getting me just a little something. Not expensive, just special. Like a penny key ring from Patsdesign on etsy with a year that means something and a tiny message…

Last year I had a custom puzzle made from one of our travel photos and gave it to H. This year, I might give one to myself! They are just as pretty on the back side and the wooden piece shapes are spectacular. www.libertypuzzles.com

I would like to get my dogs DNA tested Goofy, bit I’m curious. And it’s not stuff.

I would like some cold weather biking gloves that have tablet/i-phone compatible fingertips. I don’t like to take off my gloves to work my bike app or change music.

Every item of furniture in my house except the chair I am sitting in went into the moving Pods today. I heartily agree that except for the Christmas tree duffel bag, I can’t think of ANY item I want right now. (How did I accumulate so much stuff?!?!?!).

good supplies of crossword puzzles to last until my birthday in June

We asked DS to cook brunch for us. He is an excellent cook. DD doesn’t have any money…so we are hoping for an in kind gift from her too.

I’m not asking my husband for anything…but I really would like to have my diamond ring reset.

Renew my NYT subscription. Gift card for Lululemon or Athleta. That’s all.

I am getting what I want for Christmas both of my kids will be home!

Money.

I’d like both me and my husband to make it home for Christmas, but the odds of that are low. :frowning:

Besides that, I’d like my heart palpitations to stop and to get a good night of sleep. I’d just like to feel good again. Otherwise, no stuff, I don’t care about that.

Dinner and a show, with both kids and their SOs. Heck, I’ll pay for it if someone else does the logistics. A new gym bag. What I really want–to see the Royals play the Red Sox at Fenway.

Just chatted with H on this very thing. No presents. yaaaaaay!!! Instead we are going to treat ourselves to some restaurant reservations at a few spots we have been dying to get into. Again: yyyyyyyyaaaaay! And Merry Christmas

I want my kids home (and both will be), and if they REALLY want to give us something–make a meal or two and maybe do some chores without being asked. That would be awesome and much better than more “stuff.”
