Saw one of these threads from 2009 and saw that it was popular and helpful.

Please include what grade you are in.

I’m a senior right now, and I’m not quite sure yet. I had some more ambitious plans, but they fell through, so i will likely just be taking some classes at Stanford.

I’m a sophomore and still waiting for acceptances to know what I’ll be doing. Whatever it is that I’m doing, it will be biomedical research. Depending on what internship I’m doing, I may be attending debate camp as well.

Ask me again in a month and I should know more :-)

9th grade. i’m going to go to the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, take chemistry at a local college to advance into physics next year in 10th grade, and prepare for AMC 10 and PSAT/NMSQT.

Is there anything that would be worthwhile to do as a senior this late? (I probably missed most of the application deadlines and not many programs are for seniors). Preferably, I’d like something that’s free and in the area of math and science.

And if it comes to this, do any of you have any advice on how to spam, I mean e-mail, professors at local colleges about opportunities?

I plan on attending Ross, or any of PROMYS, Mathcamp, HCSSIM or Awesomemath…

…but I have to thank the maker of this thread for reminding me to go work on the apps, because I’m running out of time. The only one I’ve started is Ross. facepalm
